October marks a big milestone for us…
Ontech Talent is officially two years old!
And just like a toddler, we’ve grown, stumbled, learned, and laughed a lot along the way.
When we started, we’ll admit it, we didn’t have all the answers.
But we had a big vision, a heart for helping companies and candidates find their perfect fit!
Fast forward two years, and here we are: a team of seven amazing humans working across multiple states, helping incredible companies find the right talent at the right time.
What We’ve Accomplished Over 24 Months
- Grew from 2 people → 7 rockstars and over 50 years of recruiting expertise.
- Built a culture where working hard and having fun go hand in hand
- Partnered with 20+ exclusive clients (and worked with more than 50 overall!)
- Filled 600+ positions with a 93% offer acceptance rate
- Expanded across industries, starting with IT and engineering before moving into manufacturing, construction, financial institutions, and automation.
- And maybe our proudest accomplishment? We set a stretch goal for 2026 and already beat it this year.

Lessons We’ve Learned Along the Way
Although the journey has included a lot of fun and games, we’ve learned a lot along the way. Here are the top 5 takeaways!
1. Hiring the right people matters.
A couple of early missteps taught us to slow down and be methodical.
Today, we’re more intentional than ever about who joins our team.
2. Relationships are everything.
This is a relationship business at its core. Long-term partnerships with clients are the reason we’ve been able to grow so fast.
3. Vision matters.
Everyone on our team knows where we’re headed, and that alignment is powerful fuel for the future.
4. Finance isn’t scary.
From forecasting to budgeting, we embraced what we once avoided, and it’s made us stronger.
